Love, Lust, Deceit, Murder and Madness. What better way to enjoy the closing days of summer?
Don’t miss the final production of Extant Arts' Summer Shakespeare Series, The Tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare.
On his way home from war, a triumphant general encounters three strange witches who predict future honors and his ultimate rise to the throne. When the first part of their prediction comes true, Macbeth and his wife decide they must rely on their own cunning and strength to accomplish the rest--throwing all of Scotland into the chaos.
You can now see this classic tale as never before--performed for the first time by Extant Arts Company on site in Central Park’s Mineral Springs. So screw you courage to the sticking place, pack a blanket or a lawn chair, and join us August 21, 22, 23- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday- at 6:00pm and Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm.
Please note Macbeth's new showtime of 6:00PM, with a 3PM Sunday matinee.
