MINERAL SPRINGS in CENTRAL PARK

Returning to Central Park for its 6th summer season, Extant Arts presents HENRY IV, PART 1, by William Shakespeare. While the newly-crowned King Henry IV struggles to consolidate his power, his ne’er-do-well-son consorts with drunkards and thieves. As unrest boils over into open revolt, Prince Hal must weigh the family he was born to against the family he made, and discover where his loyalty truly lies. Staged in contemporary dress with minimal props with an emphasis on text and movement, Extant Arts’ production promises an imaginative and engaging mix of royal drama and bar-room antics for New York’s park-going Public.
