In our fourth Summer Shakespeare Series, we are thrilled to present a modern imagining of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING inspired by contemporary Williamsburg, Brooklyn and the culture clash between the established Italian immigrant community and the influx of hip, wealthy yuppies.
In this world where old world ideals like honor and family find themselves at odds with the changing values of the community, best friends Claudio and Benedick find themselves falling for two very different young ladies, the gentle Hero and her saucy cousin Beatrice. But when the spiteful Don John plots to spoil the budding romances and divide their friendship, will love survive?
